If you have given up hope regarding your diet plan, don’t quit up just yet. I am about to provide you with very effective ways to boost metabolism quickly and I have compiled a “Quick-Pick” list just for you to get maximum results. You have nothing to lose so let’s get going!

My Quick-Pick List of the BEST Ways to Boost Metabolism FAST! And How to Use Them!

1. Consume lots of water.

Okay, I’m not saying drink a certain amount of water everyday, like the typical 8 glasses you hear about. Just drink when you’re thirsty (and don’t wait until you’re mouth is dry and you’re dying of thirst) and drink until you’re not thirsty anymore. Every body is different so just stay in tuned with yours. Repeat as necessary.

Here is the benefit. The water not only helps to cleanse your system and regenerate your cells but can also help you to retain less water. Sounds ironic, huh? This is because when your body isn’t receiving enough water, it holds onto what it does have for survival. However when it’s getting a good amount of water, it releases the retained water because it no longer has a need for it. Strange how that works, isn’t it?

2. DON’T skip your breakfast meal! I repeat DON’T SKIP YOUR BREAKFAST MEAL!

When you sit down and enjoy a healthy breakfast, you are actually giving your metabolism a booster jump and helps it to wake it up from “starvation mode”. When you are sleeping at night, your body’s metabolic rate slows down significantly because you don’t use that much energy while you are resting. (Now it makes sense when you hear don’t eat big meals right before bedtime?) Your body spends the whole night focusing on everything else except digestion. Therefore it’s your job to recharge your rested body whenever you wake up. Try this method and you should start seeing improvements quickly!

It’s equally important to also eat the right foods, especially fro your first meal of the day. Despite what some people say, eggs can be part of a healthy breakfast. You can cook up your favorite an omelet with some good veggies, a small amount of cheese or possibly some ham or sausage. The protein from the eggs will keep you full and energized throughout the morning. This reduces your tendency to snack on junk foods. You can also have some freshly squeezed orange juice and you’ll be ready to take on any challenges that come your way! If you filled yourself with sugar coated cereals or pastries, you will most likely feel sluggish and hungry all morning.

3. Five to Six Smaller Meals Per Day is Best.

Your stomach takes roughly 3 hours to completely digest the meal you just consumed so your goal should be to eat a small healthy meal (or snack) every 3 hours or so. Ideally this should be done BEFORE you get start to get hungry again. This way, your body stay be more nourished and you will not experience those strong hunger urges.

This also applies to drinking water. If you’re depriving yourself of food and water your body will naturally hang onto all it can in order to maintain survival. If you continue to give it the required nutrients and the right foods, you can turn your body into a fat burning machine and quickly raise your metabolism!

The most beneficial foods consist of “negative calorie foods” such as fruits and vegetables in their natural states. Another great snack idea that would surely satisfy a sweet and salty craving would be some celery sticks decorated with your favorite chunky peanut butter and colorful dried cranberries. Creating a fresh fruit smoothie would not only satisfy your thirst on a hot day but also give you energy AND raise your metabolic rate!
