Do not let the Executive Business Coaching go to waste.

For one, it is not cheap. No matter who pays for it, your company or yourself, there’s a large bill associated with it. A better quality one can be very expensive and it can reach any value.

To top it up, there is the investment in time and energy. Months, weeks, days or even hours, already a huge amount of resources have been spent. It therefore should not be put to waste at all, rather it the benefits should be extracted as early as it possibly can be.

It is of utmost importance to benefit from it with all efforts possible.

The most important factor is to participate, actively. When you do so, you stand the chance to test your idea with or versus the rest of the organisation, even the CEO. At worst, you will learn your mistake in your work goals, but more positively, you will get recognised. If not for your sheer ideas, it is for your courage.

People who can lead. That is what management is looking for and which is hard to find. These are the ones who is not afraid to be in front and let people know it. They are prepared to make let people know that have made mistakes but are equally prepared to put remedies. They make large impression to management. Not those who just follow and wait for instructions. Management is always on the lookout for this kind.

Better still try to volunteer to lead projects during the coaching exercise. Show that you are ever ready to take the challenge big or small. The moment you do this, you have made a seriously positive mark.

Lastly treat the topics as seriously as you can get, and show it. The coaching exercise is held for specific reasons and at high cost. Perhaps the organisation goals are not clear. Perhaps the policies need correction. Or some major mechanisms need overhaul. If they are not major issues, there would not be any investment on it. If you do take it lightly, you stand to lose the opportunity to really grasp what is really important to the organisation and to find ways to resolve it.

Partipate, lead and be serious. If you missed doing this, you might as well not have joined the Executive Business Coaching exercise.
